Project's Day---Drunken Duster

Kenneth, our groupleader, is in charge of this survey. He did a survey of 25 people from both The Chinese High School and his primary school. The following are the survey question and the results obtained.

1. Do you feel that the cleanliness of the whiteboard in the classrooms affect your mood of teaching?

   Results--- Yes(100%) No(0%)

2. Do you detest the smell of alcohol?

   Results--- Yes(83%) No(17%)

3. Do you mind carrying this duster along with you?

   Results--- Yes(85%) No(15%)

4. Would you like the duster to be compact and portable?

   Results--- Portable(76%) Others(24%)

5. Would you pay a little more for a more effecient, improvised and developed duster?

   Results--- Yes(67%) Others(33%)

6. Would you prefer to have your markers well organised?

   Results--- Yes(100%) No(0%)

7. Do you support this project idea and think that it is applicable and useful to the users?

   Results--- Yes(82%) No(18%)

Conclusion from Survey

From this survey, we can see that most of the teachers are very optimistic about this project and thinks that it will be useful to them. However, our worst fears were confirmed, the teachers mostly dislike the smell of the alcohol. This will be an area which we will be looking at. Some ways of solving this are like to combine alcohol and perfume, to make a liquid with the ability to dissolve ink and produce a nice smell too. We also will be looking into other sources of solvents that would be smelless, cheap and of course healthy for the human body.

We can also see that the teachers do not mind paying a little more, but they will be expecting it to have more features which we would be including. Some abilities of the duster that would be included are, a marker holder, laser pointer and magnets.
